Why the Name “FuguIta”?

FuguIta_t.png
We named the LiveCD
Kawamata (2006-08-09 21:32:42)

The OpenBSD LiveCD previously did not have an original name, so we gave it one.

It is called 河豚板.
The English spelling FuguIta.

"Fugu" comes, of course, from Puffy, the OpenBSD mascot, and "Ita" (board) comes from the CD "disc."
It also carries the nuance of a "fugu chef."
Something like, "Let's skillfully prepare OpenBSD without being poisoned" (laugh).

Thank you for supporting FuguIta.
