*What can I do after boot? [#p05ab563]
Almost same as normal installation on HDD. ~
Almost same as normal OpenBSD installation on HDD. ~
See afterboot manual page by running ''man 8 afterboot''.
*How to change TimeZone [#s7282b52]
Re-link /etc/localtime;
cd /etc
ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/YOUR-TIME-ZONE localtime
Then set system clock if nessesary;
date YOUR-LOCAL-TIME
Caution: date command causes your hardware clock changed.
*Saving and restoring the modified files [#wb58c8f8]
See [[this operation exsample>http://kaw.ath.cx/dl/pub/OpenBSD/LiveCD/0_README.SAMPLE.txt]].
*Adding other softwares [#c2de4582]
See [[this operation exsample>http://kaw.ath.cx/dl/pub/OpenBSD/LiveCD/0_README.SAMPLE.txt]], too. ~
Usual way as in HDD installation. ~
Packages and ports are also OK.
*Changing window manager [#pdcf6d6f]
Edit ~/.xinitrc
xset +fp /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/japanese/:unscaled
xset +fp /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/mona/:unscaled
wm=twm <---Edit this.
case X"$wm" in
Xicewm)
Edit shell variable ''wm''. ~
Available wm's are twm, fvwm, cwm or icewm.
*Can I rebuild my own CD-ROM image? [#o9aa148f]
Yes. ~
Here's a brief description of how to build a LiveCD image;
-OpenBSD version of build and target environment ''must be'' the same.
-And must be done by root.
+Get a build tool.
ftp http://kaw.ath.cx/dl/pub/OpenBSD/LiveCD/tools/tools-4.X.tar.gz
+Extract it
tar xvzpf tools-4.X.tar.gz
+Copy kernel
cd tools-4.X
rm bsd.orig
cp bsd bsd.orig
(Or compile your customized kernel using tools-4.0/lib/RDROOT, then copy it to tools-4.X/bsd)~
~
+Copy your OpenBSD file-tree under tools-4.X/cdroot.dist ~
For example;
cd cdroot.dist
(cd YOUR-OPENBSD-FILE-TREE && tar cpf - .) | tar xvpf -
+Make an ISO image
make livecd.iso
+Burn it.
cdio -f /dev/rcd0c blank ( <- Only for CD-RW )
cdio -f /dev/rcd0c tao livecd.iso
That's all.
*Can I install this LiveCD to HDD? [#e32746d7]
Yes.
usbfadm utility can be used for installing FuguIta on HDD.~
Here is a instruction about it;
**Step 0 - Installing FuguIta on a HDD. [#ge308ba3]
On normal FuguIta LiveCD/LiveUSB, invoke usbfadm utility.

Now, you've got a new "LiveHDD" system. ~
The operation of this "FuguIta LiveHDD" is almost identical to "FuguIta LiveCD/LiveUSB" system, then;
-You have to enter any parameters at boot time.
-All files modified after boot will be lost (unless you will do backup by usbfadm).
-Maximum size of writable partition is about 1GB.
**Step 1 - Make non-intractive at boot time (optional) [#k9e6c26d]
Note: Before this step, Step 0 have to be performed ever.
By this step, you will not prompted any input at boot time.
To activate non-interactive mode, edit /noasks file on wd0d;
# mount /dev/wd0d /mnt
# vi /mnt/noasks
Uncomment all parameters as follows; ~
noask_umem must be less than physical memory size and 1024MB.
# cat /mnt/noasks
#
# noasks - parameter settings for non-interactive boot
#
# Make statements uncommented
# to activate settings
#
#
# FuguIta system device
noask_rdev='wd0a'
#
# mfs size in MB
noask_umem='1023'
#
# boot mode
noask_setup_rw_mode='3'
#
# data set name in USB flash drive
noask_confdir='test.localnet'
Then unmount it
# umount /dev/wd0d
**Step 2 - Make users' data persistent (optional) [#ba06ba38]
Note: Before this step, Step 0 to 1 have to be performed ever.
At this step;
-Make swap partition active - you can run big application process.
-Persistent directory will appear.
